Welcome to the Medicine Learning and Teaching Unit

The unit has a multi-faceted role within the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, assisting in the development and implementation of the MBBS, and providing a focus on medical education within the Medical Program.

This website provides an overview of the MBBS course and its structure, including some of special features of the course and the way it is delivered.

Existing students and staff from within the university will be able to access additional information about the current teaching programs for each year of the course.

Enrolment Information for MBBS Students 2010

Orientation Week Programs for Year 1, 2 and 3 in 2010

Attention Year 1 and year 2 students

The online enrolment system is allowing 30 into S125 and 20 into S117.
This is not possible, the MLTU will be moving you into appropriate groups. Regardless of what the enrolment status states Room S117 will only take 16 students and room S125 will only take 24 students for year 2.
In year 1 we will allow 18 students into S117 and 28 students into S125.
You will be required to attend to the tutorial you have been allocated, change of time is not negotiable.
This is done in your best interests.
Dr Hugh Kildea,
Clinical Skills Year 1 and 2 Program Coordinator.
